Individual counseling allows clients to work one-on-one with a trained mental health professional in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Individuals will be encouraged to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, and identify aspects of their lives they would like to change. and set personal, obtainable goals.

Individual counseling focused on the individual's immediate or near future concerns, a better understanding of themselves and relationships with others. Individual counseling may encompass career counseling and planning to grief after a loved one has passed.

COUPLES/ MARRIAGE COUNSELING

Couples therapy create a safe and neutral space for you and your partner to explore your relationship. Having a third party who is objective can help you say things to your spouse that you could not do just on your own.

Many times, it feels like the relationship is stuck and they are repeating the same conversation and the same conflict over and over again. Couple’s therapy is useful in helping the couple move from a conflict situation to a more emotionally and intimately connected situation where needs are being met and problems are collaboratively and constructively solved.

FAMILY COUNSELING

Family counseling, is a branch of psychotherapy that works with families and couples in intimate relationships to nurture change and development. It tends to view change in terms of the systems of interaction between family members.

The different schools of family therapy have in common a belief that, regardless of the origin of the problem, and regardless of whether the clients consider it an "individual" or "family" issue, involving families in solutions often benefits clients. This involvement of families is commonly accomplished by their direct participation in the therapy session. The skills of the family therapist thus include the ability to influence conversations in a way that catalyses the strengths, wisdom, and support of the wider system.

CHILDREN & TEENS COUNSELING

 

Child counseling, or youth counseling, however, is a type of counseling that focuses on children that are diagnosed with mental disorders. Children can experience the same mental and emotional problems that adults do, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and grief.

Grief counseling is a form of psychotherapy that aims to help people cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. These experiences are commonly thought to be brought on by a loved person's death, but may more broadly be understood as shaped by any significant life-altering loss (e.g., divorce, home foreclosure, or job loss).

Grief counselors believe that everyone experiences and expresses grief in personally unique ways that are shaped by family background, culture, life experiences, personal values, and intrinsic beliefs.

GROUP COUNSELING

Group psychotherapy or group therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which one or more therapists treat a small group of clients together as a group. The term can legitimately refer to any form of psychotherapy when delivered in a group format, including Art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy or interpersonal therapy, but it is usually applied to psychodynamic group therapy where the group context and groups process is explicitly utilized as a mechanism of change by developing, exploring and examining interpersonal relationships within the group.
